First, I’d like to thank everyone who participated in the Training event two weeks or so ago, especially the students who brought great questions and ideas, as well as our friends from the Nokia Flagship Store.
Next, I want to let everyone know that we heard you about the ease of use of the Wiki. Recognizing that the Wiki was more difficult than anticipated for everyone to work together to find technical, application and use support, we created and have launch the SHUmobile Forum, found here or along the top navigation in the SHUmobile Site. This will allow us to have a threaded discussions on specific topics that will help everyone! Thanks to the TLTC for their help working through this.
Finally, there has been a great deal of activity among our partners, as well as with other areas of Seton Hall. Here is some of this information that I’ll be explaining more over the course of the next few days, or as more details become available:
- AT&T has agreed to work with SHU to determine how to enhance discounting and to provide other offers and services in support of our initiative.
- Nokia has offered to provide additional training as per our requests, so please let us know through the comments or on the Forum what types of things you’ll want to know and find out.
- There has been a small storm of software and functionality that has been released which a number of us will be outlining over a series of posts in the next few days.
That’s it for right now, but there is sure to be more coming.
